Querying Through an External Application

As an alternative to querying via the website, the NPDB offers querying through an XML-based application programming interface called the Querying and Reporting XML Service (QRXS). QRXS is an ideal choice if you store and manage practitioner data within your own information or credentialing systems or submit a large number of queries to the NPDB. QRXS makes it easy to integrate NPDB information into your established information systems.
