How do I manage notification settings in my personal account?

Add or update your email addresses and phone number in your personal account.

To update notification preferences:

  1. Select Sign In on the top right of the NPDB home page, then select Personal Account.
  2. On the Self-Query/View Your Report Sign In page, select Sign in.
  3. Sign in to your personal account with your ID.me email and password.
  4. Select Your Account in your personal account.
  5. Select the Notifications tab.
  6. Add up to two email addresses. The NPDB will send email notifications to all addresses.
  7. Add a contact phone number.
  8. To enable SMS text message notifications:
    1. enter a mobile number.
    2. Select both checkboxes - This is a mobile number and Send text message notifications
  9. Select Save when complete.
