- All states and territories are reviewed every two years.
- The professions reviewed include those most queried in the NPDB, plus a random sample. Only the boards and professions review listed below were part of the July 2017 compliance review.*
- The review compares adverse actions taken by state licensing and certification boards to actual reports submitted to the NPDB.
- The effort ensures all actions reportable by federal law are correctly reported.
