How to Authorize Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
Registered organizations have the ability to pay for queries via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Organizations choosing to pay by EFT must submit an Electronic Funds Transfer Authorization form before EFT payments can be processed. Only a Data Bank administrator can authorize, modify, or terminate your organization's EFT account.
In order to authorize an EFT, a Data Bank administrator must take the following steps:
- On the Select an Option screen, select Administrator Options.
- Select Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Authorization.
- On the EFT Authorization page, complete the form and select Continue to the Next Step.
- Verify your information and select Submit.
The NPDB will verify that your bank account is active and able to process EFT payments. Once your account is verified, you will receive an email notification that your EFT is ready to use for query payments. Please allow 6 business days for verification to be completed.
